Bag Balm(10 oz) - $8.99 - CVS

Bag Balm 10oz
Let me tell you where bag balm is used . Bag balm is used in farms to keep dairy cows from becoming chapped in harsh winter environment. Why I use?I don't have a cow yet. But I do have fingers that get chapped and get cracked during winter. My finger tips will be at the worst during winter. I tried all sort of hand creams/lotions, Vaseline and of course diaper rash cream. Nothing worked. I googled home remedy for chapped hands and some how landed on "Bag Balm". The reviews sounded so good and I felt this was the one I've been looking for. To cut the story short, I got bag balm, applied to my finger tips and got rid of all those cracks within a week. Bag balm makes your hands soft too. It's kind of conditioner to your hand.

Before hitting the sack, apply bag balm to your fingers, slip on cotton gloves and sleep. You will start seeing the results in 3 days. I do have to tell you about the "smell" this balm has. Remember, the smell when you visit the farm. That smell belongs to bag balm. Some people like it. I definitely not. The very first day when I applied the bag balm, I applied a lot and I felt like I was fresh out of the farm. I brainstormed to get rid of that smell, didn't get any. But one day I accidentally kept open the container from morning till night, voila!! the smell was gone. The price may seem to be high, but one box(for two hands) will come for your life time, if you live to be 100 that is. But if you are going to live to be 200, well, I don't know!!!

  2. Just saw Raquel Welch tell the interviewer on TV (2015) that she uses it faithfully for all her dry areas. Highly recommended it.
