Babycakes Cake Pop Maker - $14.99- Kohls

Image
I went to Kohls to buy an outfit for me but  came back home with Cake Pop Maker.  What gives? My daughter has been eating my head right since she saw one in Bed Bath & Beyond.  I was waiting for the coupon to arrive at my doorstep, but when I saw the product in Kohls I bought it without  any second thought.  I have to let my secret out here. I'm not a baking person.  Come to think of it, I'm not a cooking person either.  Since my daughter is so much into cookies/ cakes and egg is not our thing, I'm forced to bake now and then.  Now, coming back to our story, I came home, searched review for Cakepop Maker.  The reviews were positive but for few downsides.  The main being the machine gets too hot and the cake pops come out flat instead of round.  Having read all these, I didn't want to take any risks.  So with utmost care, I uncovered the beauty of Babycake Cake Pop maker.  I have given here my utmost care tips...

(This post is all about food.  If you are a human and totally not bothered about what reaches your tummy via your mouth, this page is not for you.  Thanks for stopping by. Au revoir .  On the other hand, if you are a  human and  buy your food from grocery stores, not grow your food in your own backyard or get your dairy products from your  own farm that is, this page is for you. Willkommen . If you live in the USA, you may read the entire post. If you live elsewhere, you can skip the tabular column.  If you live in the heaven or hell, I'm  glad that my post reached you.) Without knowing what is in store(literally and really) I downloaded the app "Fooducate". FYI,Fooducate lets you scan a grocery store product and grades(A,A-…D) the product based on its nutritional value and ingredients. As with other app, I could've kept my hands off from this app.  But destiny played its part and I used this app to scan a product that i...

Bag Balm(10 oz) - $8.99 - CVS

Image
Let me tell you where bag balm is used . Bag balm is used in farms to keep dairy cows from becoming chapped in harsh winter environment. Why I use?I don't have a cow yet. But I do have fingers that get chapped and get cracked during winter. My finger tips will be at the worst during winter. I tried all sort of hand creams/lotions, Vaseline and of course diaper rash cream. Nothing worked. I googled home remedy for chapped hands and some how landed on "Bag Balm". The reviews sounded so good and I felt this was the one I've been looking for. To cut the story short, I got bag balm, applied to my finger tips and got rid of all those cracks within a week. Bag balm makes your hands soft too. It's kind of conditioner to your hand. Before hitting the sack, apply bag balm to your fingers, slip on cotton gloves and sleep. You will start seeing the results in 3 days. I do have to tell you about the "smell" this balm has. Remember, the smell when yo...

Dawn Power Dissolver - $2.83 - Walmart

Image
Every magazine carries a column called "product that I can't live without".  According to me this is the one and only product that I cannot live without. True to its name "Dawn Power Dissolver" dissolves burnt on, baked-on grease from the dishes and saves your time from scrubbing.  All you have to do is burn a dish…….just kidding……… 1)spray the dissolver on burnt-on stuff 2)wait for 15 minutes.  Do rest of your dishes, watch T.V., color your nails, like a post in FB… 3)After 15 minutes, scrub the dish gently and rinse the gunk off.   4)Amaze at your sparkling dish. The instruction says that you can load the treated dishes in the dishwasher.  I never tried because I get a cheap thrill when I see the burnt-on film coming off.  Take my words, this product really saves your cleaning time. The smell sometimes irritates my nose, but it doesn't linger on the dishes. The very big problem is, this cheap & best products gets discont...

Fat Free Yoga - $13.99

See, I wanted to work at home that is I wanted to shred those extra pounds sitting at home!!!Seriously. My time is limited. I didn't want to waste my time getting dolled up for workout or driving car to the gym. I also don't like those exercise machines we have at home because I feel they are so monotonous. I wanted something interactive. My search lead to "Fat Free Yoga". I read the reviews at amazon.com and the very next day I got this DVD from the library. For the record I don't know anything about Yoga. And all the workouts in this DVD are based on Kundalini Yoga and that's greek to me. The DVD is 90 minutes long and there are 11 sections. Since I get only 30 -40 minutes for myself out of 1440 minutes in a day, I was pondering over which segment to do. Again amazon.com came to my rescue. I picked up set 2 (42 minutes) and started doing this yoga meticulously. Everyday I used to check my weight after doing this yoga. My weight didn't ...
